About the Author: Chris Royle

Chris Royle   As Director of Strategy and Planning, Chris is most known for his listening and translating skills -- he converts tech speak to business speak and visa versa. The thing he enjoys most about Polk is getting to understand the automotive world through data. When he's not finding solutions for customer needs and helping drive decisions, you'll find him enjoying his family, travelling and 'pottering' (his wife's term for doing stuff around the house). Born in the UK, Chris worked for GM in several locations including the UK, Germany and then the U.S. before joining Polk. He met and married a MI native and they have a daughter together. He lives in a full-house of 6 which includes his mother-in-law, step-son and nephew. Having never played soccer, Chris became the default soccer coach because he sounded like he knew what he was doing. Although Chris only met one non-family "Royle" in his life -- he actually sits within 20 feet of another Chris Royle right here at Polk!
